The short version

LetsMock does not ask you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address or phone number. To run an interview we process your voice, and — if you choose to upload one — the text of your resume. You can delete everything at any time by emailing us.

1. What we collect

  • Your voice during an interview.Audio is streamed while a mock interview is in progress so the app can transcribe what you say and reply to it.
  • The transcript of the interview.Text of both sides of the conversation, with timings, so we can score your answers and show you the transcript afterwards.
  • Your resume, if you upload one.We extract the plain text from the PDF so the interviewer can ask about your actual projects. We do not keep the original file.
  • Your scorecard. The scores, feedback and speech metrics generated after each interview.
  • An anonymous app identifier. A random id generated on your device to keep track of your interviews and whether you have an active subscription. It is not linked to your identity.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location or advertising identifiers.

2. Why we process it

Solely to provide the app: to conduct the interview, generate your scorecard, show you your history, and apply your free-tier or subscription entitlement. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your interviews for advertising.

3. Who processes it for us

A mock interview is not possible without sending audio and text to specialist services. Each one processes data only to deliver its part of the service:

  • LiveKit — carries the live audio between your device and our interviewer, and stores session recordings and transcripts that we use to diagnose faults.
  • Deepgram — converts your speech to text, and generates the interviewer's voice.
  • Groq — runs the language model that decides what to ask next and writes your scorecard.
  • RevenueCat — manages subscriptions and receipts. It receives the anonymous app identifier, never your interview content.
  • Google Play — processes payments. We never see or store your card details.

4. How long we keep it

  • Transcripts and scorecards — kept so you can revisit past interviews and track progress, until you ask us to delete them.
  • Resume text — kept until you replace it or ask us to delete it.
  • Session recordings held by LiveKit— retained only for troubleshooting and deleted on their standard schedule.

5. Deleting your data

Email hello@letsmock.comfrom the device you use, and we will delete your interviews, transcripts, scorecards and resume text. Uninstalling the app on its own does not delete data already stored, because there is no account for us to close.

6. Children

LetsMock is intended for people preparing for employment and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Security

Audio and API traffic are encrypted in transit. Access to stored interview data is limited to the operator of the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, note it in the app.

9. Contact
